Hello and happy wedding season everyone!
Whether you are planning or attending a wedding (or two!) this year, we hope you’ll get to witness one here at Daniel’s Vineyard where the venue space, panoramic vineyard view, and modern but classic atmosphere create the perfect ambiance for a memorable day.
Before the venue building was complete, we hosted a number of beautiful vineyard weddings, and during our first year of business (2017), we accommodated seven weddings. After getting a few more weddings under our belt, Daniel’s Vineyard quickly became a popular choice for 2018 and 2019! We are delighted to host 18 weddings this year with several more booked for next year! Weddings at the vineyard range from small to large, averaging between 150-200 guests. Our family venue is versatile, offering a ceremony pad, an upper and lower banquet room, a balcony overlooking our 22 acres of vines, a state of the art tasting room, and a breathtaking bridal suite!
Our team, including Director of Private Events, Jennie Shipley, understands that planning a wedding can be stressful and has shared a few tips to ease the pressure. Jennie says, “When venue hunting, make a priorities list with everything you want and need, then focus your budget there; splurge where you really can and really want to!” And her number one tip, “DON’T STRESS! Enjoy it!”
Jennie and the Daniel’s Vineyard event staff work closely with the Ritz Charles and Jacquie’s and are always happy to recommend A Classic Party Rental, for glassware and equipment. The team has recently collaborated with the amazing sister floral team at Old Forest Farms, photographer Mallory Talty, and florist/event designer Julie Hollis at Julie’s Flowers. To ensure a flawless event, one of the requirements for the big day is to have additional on-site coordination through a day-of-coordination or a full service wedding planner. Recently, we have seen weddings go off seamlessly and beautifully with the coordinators at Jessica Dum Wedding Coordination and Boldly Chic, just to name a couple!
To make a special day absolutely unforgettable, the Daniel’s Vineyard design team, including local artist, Jenna Cook, can create a label unique to a couple for a special private release of wines for the couple and their guests!
